Calvary Chapel was formed in 1988 by Pastor Gary Nelson. It started as a small
meeting in the Nelson home and finally settled in the Northern business area
of Temecula. We are a smaller and intimate fellowship and we hold very fast to
our three core values: Priority of Prayer, Passionate Worship and Preaching
the Word. Our desire is that you are able to connect with God and leave here
strengthened and desiring to know more about the amazing Savior we serve!

We choose to follow the mandate set forth by Jesus Christ Himself when he said,
"My house shall be called a house of prayer." We take prayer very serious here and
we give it a great place in our church.

Between 9:30 & 9:50am we set aside time for prayer and reflection in the Sanctuary.
We have a wonderful Children's church available for nursery-Jr. High aged kids and
our High Schoolers remain in the Sanctuary. Services last about 1 1/2 hours with a
time of worship, teaching from God's Word and fellowship. Prayer is always available
at the altar with a Pastor after service.
