Small Groups Pastor Russell Murdaugh

Russell Murdaugh is a California native, and was blessed to be able to grow up in a Christian home.  The son of a Southern Baptist pastor, he has served in various ministries throughout his life.  Moving to Temecula in 1992 when he began working in San Diego, Russell and his family began attending Calvary Chapel of Temecula Valley in 1999.  As a musician, he has always loved lifting up the name of the Lord in worship and praise and in 2001, he began serving with the worship team.  Russell has been leading the Home Fellowship ministry at Calvary Chapel of Temecula Valley since 2005.   He and his wife, Shannon, have just celebrated their 20th wedding anniversary and have four children from ages 11-16.  Two of their children also serve in the Youth and Children’s ministries at the church.
