Worship Director Stephen Taylor

At a young age Stephen began learning how to play piano. He was saved while in Jr. High and had the opportunity to attend Desert Christian High School. Being from an Air Force family, Stephen has lived in several different places, including Germany. He began attending CCTV in 2000 and in 2003 he was asked by the worship leader to play for Christmas and Stephen’s response was “only for Christmas!” Now almost 8 years later not only did he continue playing after that Christmas but God opened the door of worship leading two years ago. Stephen never had a desire to lead, just to be used however God saw fit. Along with piano Stephen briefly learned the hammer dulcimer and is currently learning acoustic guitar. He enjoys camping, going to the beach, watching movies with his family, spending time with his children and anything Google! His favorite scripture is Psalm 119:9-11 and he enjoys the music of Rich Mullins, Paul Baloche, Hillsong United, Jared Anderson and many others! He and his wife Lisa have been married for 11 years and have two children, Aidan and Lauren.
